Hey Everyone,
My boyfriend and I (both late 20s) will be spending about 3 weeks in Argentina in oct/nov.
I haven't booked flights yet so was wondering if anyone has any advice about this proposed itinerary:
-Arrive in Buenos Aries, spend about 4 days
- Trip up to Iguazu Falls (not sure if we will fly or bus it- any advice on this?) and we will spend 1-2 days on the Argentina side and 1 day on the Brazilian side.
- Fly to El Calafate, spend a couple of days there including day trip to the Pietro Monero glacier.
-hire car and drive up to El Chalten, spend 3 days hiking
-drive back to El Calafate, catch bus to Torres Del Paine.
-5n Torres del Paine, bus out of park
-fly to Ushuaia, spend couple of nights there.
- leave Ushuaia on Antarctica Cruise.
So the questions I have- is it worth going up to El Chalten or will it be similar to Torres Del Paine?
Are we missing anything by flying down to Ushuaia? e.g. should we see stuff along the way?
Any other general advice on places to see?
Thanks!
:)
