Hi everyone,

Just wondering how much time is required in Igauzu falls?

If we arrive on the first day at 11am and leaving third day 6am to Rio.
How would you split the time between both Argentinean and Brazilian side with our 1.5 days?
I heard that the brazil side is smaller and just require half a day; whereas the argentinean side require a full day.

We have first night booked in the Argentinean side and the second night booked in Brazilian side.
Otherwise, maybe first day we can spend the afternoon in Brazil side and secnd day full day in Argentiean side..but we will have to cross the border twice :)

Thank you for any insights on an itinerary.

Hello,
I was in Iguazu falls this June. It is spectacular!
Brazilian side is smaller and can be done in 2 hours with no rush, but I strongly recommend you also visit the Birds Park for which you need extra 2 hours. Additionally, you could take a helicopter and fly above the jungle and enjoy the falls from the air. I am not the person who does such touristic things, but I was tempted this time and I loved it.
For Argentinian side you need more time and comfortable shoes. It is lots of walking. I would say 5 hours.
Do both sides, they are very different, very beautiful.

Have a look at my blog, there are some photos from my trip, you can also change the language on the bottom of the page.
