HI, I am travelling to Argentina next month for only a couple of days. Since I am in Indian citizen, I would need a valid visa. Has anyone had any experience with applying for Argentina visa? I was thinking of just walking in to the consulate with the required documents since the website doesn't say if I need an appointment. However, I read some old threads on online forums and it looks like you need to first email them to get an appointment.

How long do they take to respond and provide an appointment?
How long do they take to process the visa?

I am also going to Brazil and Peru and those visas were super quickly processed in 3-5 days but looks like Argentina takes longer. I am to start my trip on May 1, 2015 so not a lot of time to go.

I just want to be prepared for a situation where I might not get Argentina visa on time and would have to cancel that leg of my trip.

Any help/guidance would be great.

Thanks!
neha

Hey Neha,

I'm in the same boat. Any insight on what the process was like for you? How long did it take end-end? Steps in the middle?

Much appreciated,
Rahul
