hey,
I thought I had read/heard that it's possible to get a discount airfare on domestic flights with Aerolineas Argentina if you also use
them to fly into Argentina from abroad. ( i would be flying from Spain)
can anyone tell me more about this? I cant seem to find any information on their website bout it apart from the South America Airpass, perhaps I am getting it confused with this?
If this discount fare is available, is it neccessary to have an international return to be eligible?
any information much appreciated! cheers x

Aerolineas has prices for residents and non-residents. It also has different fares for travellers arriving in Argentina via Aerolineas and for travellers arriving in Argentina via any other international airline. There is no way to get around it as they ask for your papers when you check in. Unless you live in Argentina and have the right ID you will have to pay the non-resident price. This is why the web site says something about country of origin. So you need to be careful when you get quotes that they are for non-residents and also be clear whether the quote is in dollars or pesos.

Yes, I used them in Oct. and got real good deals on internal flights. Call their reservation center and arrange it before you arrive. My experience with them has been very positive. Since you are in Spain I am assuming you speak Spanish. That makes it even easier. Don't worry, all their employees speak English also.
