Can anyone offer a suggestion on a good bus company and price from BA to Iguazu?
Where do you go to book the bus? Or are there nice train journies? Our hostel books busses but I think it would be cheaper to do it directly if there was a website or something. I think the bus station might be a bit of a journey to get to if just going for inquiry or purchase.
Also thinking of cutting into Florinopolis from there....
anyone done that journey?
Cheers,
Micah

Best bet is to head to the main bus station in Retiro (it's very close to the centre) and ask around. All bus companies with services to Iguazu have their ticket offices in the same upstairs section. Alternatively, there's a train which will get you as far as Posadas, from where you would need to get a bus for the final part of the journey (train details here). The train runs twice a week, is slower than the bus and can be subject to delays, but it's possible to get a sleeper compartment and there's a restaurant & bar car.

One-way bus fares from Buenos Aires to Iguazu range from US$38.00 to 60.00 US$. This trip takes 18 hours. The Buenos Aires-Posadas train takes 26 hours. Buses from Posadas to Iguazu take 6 hours.
