My Backpack has finally had it. Zips gone and need a new one. Finding a decent backpack in Buenos Aires so far has been surprisingly hard - can anyone recommend a good shop to make such purchases? Pretty keen for a 70L jobby, top loading (or ideally a hybrid), suitable for general use and the odd short (less than 1 week) trek.

Well arent u just in luck...as i am on the same mission as you...i just arrived today in BA as well---and found some luck...try a shop on Lavalle 695 (sorry, cant remember the name!).Metro stop is Lavalle!!..and they seemed to have a decent one for 90 pesos (which was the most expensive one in the shop!)...and if you{re looking for a better hard core one, then there{s one for 210 pesos on Florida 812 (between Rivadavia and Diagonal Norte)...see which one suits u best...i may just go back for the 90 pesos one...but up to u!
