Hello there! I'm in need of some assistance with buses in the Quebrada de Humahuaca region. I'm going to be Salta for about four days and I'd like to make two of those nights stays in different towns of either Tilcara, Humahuaca, or Purmamarca. I've found plenty of buses from Salta to Jujuy, but nothing online for Jujuy to the Humahuaca area. Are buses so frequent that I don't really need to book tickets in advance? I'd really like to book my hotels in two different towns in advance, but I'm worried about not being able to find transportation to each section. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are busses every hour or so. No need for advance booking. One of the nicest places is Iruya, which is not on the main road.
