Well I was looking for a few things-
A good place to sit and people watch
Best view in the city
Good spots to go for a run
hole in the wall restaurants
and any recommended day trips from the city
Thanks for your help!

A good place to sit and people watch: La Biela@ Recoleta
Best view in the city: depends.. I love San Isidro, the river area etc.. also Puerto Madero
Good spots to go for a run:Palermo woods
and any recommended day trips from the city:
1. La Plata
2.San pedro
3.San Antonio de Areco
4.Chascomus
5.Tigre * I do not like it though
6.Lujan
7.Colonia Uruguay

Thank you!
Esterosdelibera the photos look just like what I was searching for.
I'll put San Isidro on my list and I will definitely check out La Plata and tell you how the museum is lizzylou.

Go to Lavalle and Florida (just for pedestrian, so imagine), there's a cafe, "City Corner". Take seat there and watch the people.
I worked in that building, first floor, my boss was the City Corner's owner. That was... ups, 20 years ago... it's crowdier now.
I used to watch people going along those streets and, of course, in different moments of the day I had great opportunities to see something interesting, to recognize the "characters" of the area, and I have many memories.
"characters" are not the same now, of course.
I don't like City Corner be-cau-se I worked for them, hahahaaaa, but as you won't have the possibility of going upstairs, I admit that going into the cafe is your best choice.

- Feria de Mataderos, very nice and cheap stuff for bargaining.
2. If you really want a "hole in the wall" restaurant, definetely check out El San Juanino, its in Recoleta, 1515 Posadas. Great Locro *an indigenous/gaucho stew from el Cuyo! Definetely nice, small, great atmosphere and probably the cheapest restaurant in Recoleta.

thanks for that info, I'll try to go to El Sanjuanino!
(I'd love to eat a locro right now... mmmm...)

Easy. Monumento de los Españoles. Comming from Libertador Av (going south). Seriously underrated
