hi i will be visiting chile and argentina in april for a month and i plan to visit TDP first then head up to see perito moreno glacier and el calafate onto el chalten. I was wondering if theres any way of crossing the border to head up to el calafate from TDP as it seems a bit of a waste of time to go back down to puerto natales to head back up again. is there a bus that goes from TDP to el calafate i can jump on?

kind regards,

Dan

No public transport but day tours from El Calafate to the park will take you on the return if space is available. Book it. Always Glaciers usually comes in cheapest but there are others.

Thanks for your reply! I don't suppose you know any other companies other than always glaciers as they say they may not be running trips as it's coming towards the end of the season. Thanks! Dan

There are a couple more which have been mentioned. I can only remember Southroad, but google should turn up what is available. April may be a problem with all of them.
