border crossing between brazil and argentina in missiones

Is there any chance of crossing the border at some of the smaller towns on the river where there is no bridge but presumably it is possible to cross by boat?

Anyone know or have any experience of this? I'm keen to check out Missiones but I don't want to ride all the way down to Sao Borja where there is a big highway border crossing into Argentina from Brazil.

OK. I've got the answer to my own question. Yes, there are several smaller border crossings - the most interesting being a ferry crossing between Porto Soberbo and El Soberbio.
