I would like to know if you recomment on going to a match. I saw that there's a game on April 12 and thought abt going. from what I can see. some ppl say it's not safe.
What say you? (I'm a female who will go alone. usually I have no problem with that, but just wondering).

I've been to the Bombonera a few times..... with friends,with my girlfriend and alone.No problems.
If you are worried about going alone,you can probably team up with other tourists (eg at the hostel).Some hostels even have organised trips to see Boca,River etc.

Hi Adi, I will be in Montevideo from 4th to 8th of April, then getting ferry to Buenos Aires and staying there until the 14th of April. be great to hang out at the Boca Juniors game so PM me if you are interested. Can anyone confirm or (hopefully) tell me that this isn't true!?

Justinc, can you ask your hostel in BA if they have any information on getting to a Boca game, or if they do a package. A tour package appears to be the only way to see Boca (it does seem to be a Members only place) and one company I have asked quoted US$150 for pickup/return, bilingual guide who will supply ticket, and a beer!
