How did you all find the bus journey from BA to Puerto Iguazu? I'm planning on travelling from BA to the falls in late April/early May and would prefer to take the bus route. Any recommendations for hostels in Puerto Iguazu?

I've done the bus journey from BA to Puerto Iguazu. I've also done the reverse journey.

If you go to here you will see a list of all the buses that depart the bus station in BA to Puerto Iguazu.

Hostels - one close to the bus station is probably good - that means you can get on the first bus to Iguazu Falls without having to wait too long.

A friend of mine who spent some time in Argentina recommended a multi pass bus ticket with this company:

Anyone have any experience with this or another company? It seems like a multi-pass would be good way to get around both within and outside of the country.

They aren't worth getting. You are much better off buying bus tickets from the bus companies themselves. There are lots of bad reviews about bus passes in south america.

Worth knowing - probably not a bad idea buying tickets as I go to stagger costs.

Thanks again mate!
