Rent a car in Baja California

Hi,
We are Dutch and we are planning to rent a car in Baja California to do a little road trip in the South Area (Cabo - Santa Rosalia - La Paz - Cabo Pulmo - Cabo). What company do you recommend?

I would hire a taxi with driver. I found in the long run it is more relaxed and maybe less expensive.

Ok. How could I arrange a taxi driver?

I had good luck with Fox, out of their LaPaz BCS office. Price was quite reasonable (but I believe it varies with high/low season) and I got an almost brand new VW Golf. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to make sure I had a good experience.

Couple months ago, I used Cactus Car Rental at Los Cabos airport. Made reservation online, they picked me up at the airport, no hassle at the counter, no deviation from online specifications, easy drop-off. Their price includes basic insurance. You don't mention where you'd rent. You can research online for prices.
