reasonable accom in playa del carmen

Could any one name a couple of hotels in Playa around the $30 to $40 price range?We have not been to playa for about 4 years.

Depending on how 'picky' you are, Posada la Dona on 35th might work for you. I think it's about a block and a half north of Juarez.

Try this recent thread. It had several appropriate suggestions.

We stayed at the Hotel Mayeli on Calle 2 between 5th and 10th Avenues. It had a pretty good location and the A/C cranked. I think we paid $40 for a double last June.
