i want beautiful rooms, great food, great pool with swim up bar and of course a great great.

Anyone been to Puerto Arista (Chiapas coast)? I' ve read about it in the Lonely Planet. Guess it is like Puerto Angel 15 years ago.
Is it worth to visit? Or is the place itself to tranquil (off season). How are the beaches? I also don't know if PA is to far away from the route Oaxaca Coast - San Cristobal.

I am living in Guadalajara and am planning a trip to Real de Catorce for an upcoming long weekend. I have been trying to find out how long a drive it is, but answers from friends/colleagues/websites have ranged from 6 to 10 hours! Has any of you been to real de catorce? How and where can I find accurate trip duration estimates? Does there exist a mexican version of Mapquest?

While on the topic, any suggestions what to do once in Real de Catorce and surroundings?

My boyfriend and I have the opportunity to travel to Mexico in September for four weeks. We really want to take our time and concentrate on one part of the country and in particular are very interested in visiting the Maya Ruins in the Yucatan Peninsula.

What I am not managing to get my head round is where in Mexico one should visit in September. I have read that Mexico is good to visit all year round but there are hurricane risks in September. I have read that this effects the carribbean coast…

If I am looking to buy a car to have in Monterrey for a year does anyone have any suggestions? ...Do I buys something in Canada and drive it down and resell later, buy something in Monterrey to resell later, or buy somethign in Texas?

Also, any suggestions on must sees in teh Yucutan? I have a week to travel around and then i will be in Playa del Carmen for a week.
