Would anyone like to recommend a moderately priced, centrally located hotel in Queretaro? Muchas gracias.

PR West recently posted a glowing report on Hotel Hidalgo.

Hotel Plaza, on Corregidora, near the Jardín Zenea, was fine in 2001. It was about $380 MXP a double at that time. Rooms toward the front, or around the covered patio, seemed larger than the compact, "tranquilo" room we had at the very back.

#4, I was there last March and I believe it was about 250 pesos, they also had a very good comida for 30 Pesos and the bar had a great miniature car collection, they also had a restored 1956 Buick Sport in the patio with outdoor seating...suerte

We have a poster here who runs a B&B in Queretaro that people seem to like. I don't have the contact information, but others here may - and what she offers may be what you're looking for (or better).
