Will be in Mexico for July and looking for help to plan a route. Was thinking of heading west from DF to the coast and then heading south along it, then back to DF for flight home. Any advice? If anyone can suggest a better route I'll do it. Gotta finish up though with a few days on the beach with enough time to get back for my flight. Travelling alone so need suggestions for places to pull into now and again to meet fellow travellers. Thanks.

Head south to Ciudad Oaxaca - you'll meet other travellers there.
Puerto Angel - great small village; be sure to ask a local to take you to Playa Estacahuites (a-stack-awheatays).
Puerto Escondido is great too - lots of travellers there, and be sure to talk the walk to Playa Carrizalillo!
