Is it recomandable (or possible) to travel to Mexico in july because of the weather?
The problem is that in Germany our big vacations are in july/august (6 weeks), so for me it would be the only possibility
to go in this time of the year. I know it's the rains...
Thank you!!!

The coastal areas are hot hot hot and humid humid humid. But the mountains areas are fabulous in those months. You could plan an itinerary around the central colonial cities. Lots to see and do, and the weather won't flatten you. Yes, it is the rainy season, but rainy as in afternoon/evening showers, not all day day after day rain with leaden grey depressing skies.

The few times I have gone in this time of year I noticed there were a lot more Europeans.I guess it could be compared to the south of Spain in August, but much better.THe rivers are fuller and the countryside is much greener, but dont forget Mexico is huge and the weather will be different depending on the region.Fur mich die besten staten sind Oaxaca und Chiapas in der suden.Gutte reisen!

In the Central Highlands, that is places like Mexico City, Puebla, and nearby cities, April and May are the hot months.July won't be cold, but also won't be terribly hot.
