Locusts in Merida?

Thanks again to all who replied. Merida was locust-free during my visit.

Dave C. - I had chapulines in Oaxaca last time around, and I didn't find them to be nearly as bad as some of my companions did - but I can't say I wouldn't be disappointed if I thought I was ordering lobster and got chapulines instead...
