There´s another Peña de Bernal between Tampico and Cd. Victoria. And sometimes they call el Cerro de los Metates in Veracruz, La Peña de Bernal.

Splendid photos, but somehow the story about what we are seeing is missing. And that would add a lot to the presentation. Looks like you were there during the week when there were no tourists. That´s the right way to plan your trip, so you will have the whole place to yourself!

i like the hustle and bustle of peoples enjoying themselves in a wonderful place.

i am in queretaro now and will go to bernal tomorrow, april 4, looking forward to rubbing shoulders with folks traveling around during semana santa.

Hustle and bustle isn't always a bad thing. Isolating yourself too much from other people can also detract from a travel experience; it all depends upon what you're expecting (what your goal for the trip is).
