Hey there, I would like buy tickets for Copper Canyon and I noticed I can get off at 2-3 destinations with the 1st or 2nd class ticket. But it appears that I can only stay ONE night in each spot (from the sources I read). I would like to stay at least 3 nights at each of my exits. Can I? Do I have to purchase tickets from town to town if I want to stay longer, or can I purchase the full-length ticket? If I purchase from each destination, do I have to purchase in advance? Is that really difficult to do internationally?

I'm not familiar with buying the full legnth Los Mochis to Chihuahua tickets. Because I only bought seats on shorter legnth sections to piece the route together on my own schedule. Unless it's a big holiday (like Christmas or Easter week, maybe?) there's never an issue with buying your ticket after you've boarded the train.
