I will be travelling to mexico city at end of november, gonna stay 3 nights, which area is the best to stay to enjoy nightlife?

There are lots of clubs catering to middle and upper middle class customers in Zona Rosa, Roma and Condesa. But I suggest you check with some of the online guides to Mexico City to find what´s hip at the moment, for example, www.maspormas.com.
On the other hand, you may mean something entirely different by nightlife: maybe you like mariachis music, best to visit Garibaldi Plaza; or folkloric ballet at the Palacio Bellas Artes; etc.

To be in a "hip" area full of cafes and bars and pretty (and safe) streets then consider Condesa or Roma. I can no longer do nightlife but I love just wandering around these neighbourhoods looking for good food and drink, though, I haven't been there since the earthquake.
