Cuba travel help

Does anyone know of a travel agent, or anyone, who can help with travel to Cuba from Tijuana, Mexico. I live in southern California and would like to fly from TJ if possible. No, I don't have a permit for travel to Cuba. Thanks in advance.

You have two options.

1. Taino Tours has an office in Tijuana and I believe they are an agent for Havantur---a Cuban agency. There was a direct charter flight from TJ to Havana. This is a link to their website.

2. You can call Mexicana directly in Mexico City and make your reservation. You can charge the flight to AMEX or wait and pay whatever the current price is when you get to Mexico. Their number is 011-52-555-448-0990

I would not recommedn the charter flight - the 1AM departing Mexicana direct connection to Mex City, then connect Mex City to Havana works great - red eye but gets you into Havana the afternoon same day, ahead of most other intl arrivals..and the return connect leaves Hav about 3PM - and is great not having to wake up ealry your last day..fares only change a bit by season, no major pre-purchase or sell-off discounts.
