Hi everyone,

You were nice and helpful so far, but another thing accured to my mind. We were gonna go to Cuba(either Varadero,or Guardalavaca) in the beginning of October, for 2 weeks. But after I read some books as well, (not just the travel agencies brossure, which tells you " its all good" anyways) so they say that between September and January theres the hurricane season, so loads of rain falls-still sunny though... Just wondering, if anybody has been there in October, and was…

OK, I know it sounds silly. But, I need to know if disposable diapers are widely available in Cuba, or at least in Havana. I arrive June 11th and plan to spend about 3 weeks makikng my way to Santiago de Cuba with my wife and 10month year old, who goes through a lot of diapers! LP said they are hard to find, but I don't want to carry 3 weeks worth of diapers. I also definately don't want to run out!

Also, anyone know if it is posisble to fly from Santiago de Cuba to Mexico City, or do you…

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy drums in Cuba. Im thinking of the African Djembe type? If so roughly how much would they cost?

After too much time in Cuba without being able to do even the simplest "un dos tres" pasitos, I think it's time I get myself together and at least give salsa (or casino, you name it) a shot. I am looking for any recommendations about anyone you think might fulfill the following requirements:

- Experience in teaching people. Good dancers don't always make good teachers and I need a teacher. A good one, who has actually tought someone from scrap and seen results

- Based in Vedado, or able…

I just returned from a month in Cuba and when I entered through Havana in April it took 25 minutes from the time I deplaned to the time I walked out of the airport. I had 2 check-ins and 2 carry-ons. Not one problem. Also, there is no longer a money exchange in the baggage area, I had to change money outside, once I had cleared customs. There is still a bank in the baggage area but I guess that is only for people required to pay something, not for changing money.

So I'll be traveling to Cuba this July, and I still have just a couple of loose ends I'd really like to nail in the head.

The whole double entry stamp issue... how is this best solved? I was under the impression that a birth certificate plus a drivers license would be enough for reentry into the country... is this still the case? I was talking with my dad and he said that just this year, all entry to Cuba through flight can only be done with a passport. I would like to fly to Cancun with my…

Apologies as I imagine this question has been asked many, many times but my guide book simply states that I'll need a two pin plug adapter for Cuba. Pins can both round and flat...so that's my first question - round or flat?

Secondly, the voltage in the UK (origin of my recharable battery stuff) is 240V or thereabouts, whereas I understand it to be both 110V & 220V in Cuba? Presumably I don't need to take a voltage converter/adapter as Cuba's supply is less than the UK and therefore I wont risk…

I heard from a friend who went to Cuba 3 years ago that he was able to pay someone $20 to not have to go through the whole customs process of having someone go through everything in your bag, etc. Does this still happen or is it wishful thinking?

I haven't posted a selloff airfare in a while and I'm happy to do so from my expensive but sane retreat in London, UK.

Check these ones out Holguin & Cayo Coco selloffs.
