A good cuban friend of mine is about to become a canadian citizen. She is about 50, married to a canadian and lives
in British Columbia. Never have been much of a shopper, I could use some ideas for a gift, something to mark the special nature of the event. Any ideas much appreciated.

Monday, American filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation requesting seven weekly flights between Miami International Airport and Havana. So first off I need to get away for at least a week, I'm losing my mind. I'm not afraid of solo travel cause that's all I ever do anyways, but it was between Cuba and Dominican Republic. I would like to arrange a visit to a primary school when I visit Havana, Cuba in late May 2017. I am a teacher in Chicago and would like to include the school isit as part of my visa itinerary. Hi all, starting a cuba trip this week. Friday arriving at Varadero airport, staying 2nights in Varadero than travelling to habana, vinales, trindiad etc. Can you recommend some MUST SEE´s and good snorkeling spots? If someone is also on trip at this time and wanna join... let me know. greets

I read that upon arrival into Havana international terminal I can take a shuttle bus...Or maybe a workers bus to the domestic terminal and from there take a public bus into town. Has anyone tried this? And does anyone know where the bus ends up in town? I'm trying to get to near China Town. I have CUP, so I can use that on local buses. Many thanks!

just got back from 5 days in cuba where i saw habana, vinales, and trinidad. it was a lot to cram in, i wish i had more time, however i'm very glad i got to see those places. i still have a lot of CUC that i wasn't able to convert back to USD because the cadeca at the airport "closed" before my flight haha. i have 215 :-| if anyone is traveling to cuba from the southeast michigan area, let me know if you want to exchange!

Myself and 2 friends will be in Cuba from the 22nd July til the 1st August.
Wondering if it is worth including Santiago for the festival and if so, what dates? Also looking for accommodation ideas.
We have also seen there are festivals other places during this time are any of them worth going to or even better than Santiago?
