I'm looking to head to Cuba by myself in early 2018 and am finding information on Tourist cards very limited as I won't be going through a pre-package holiday (which tends to sort them out for you). Does anyone have any experience in applying for/ obtaining a Tourist card as a UK citizen? My main concern is that the embassy says that you need to provide proof of accomodation, whereas I would normally book the first few nights and last couple and work the rest out when I get there. My wife and I are British Citizens and UK Passport holders, we will be travelling to Canada in August for a family wedding and three days later we intend to travel to Cuba from Canada with a group of Canadian Friends for a week. Can anyone tell me if I need to obtain a Cuban Tourist Card before leaving the UK and if so, suggest a suitable website for making my application.

Because I have been confused with the ac adapter which I can take with me in Cuba. I use the European chargers (2 round pins). Now, what I have to buy? Hi there

I've started planning my trip to Cuba and I wondering if anyone could give me an indication of the amount of leg room available on the busses they have out there. I'm 6'5 (195cm) tall so I don't really want to travel vast distances in one go if there is little or no leg room available as it would be too uncomfortable. If there isn't much leg room available then I'll look at planning longer trips in a series of shorter hops or possible look at the shared taxi option.
