Hey there,
A friend and I are planning a trip to Cuba this September on our way to Mexico. We plan to be there for a week, and I'm trying to find out online about applying for a visa but getting conflicting information. The embassy is closed at the moment so I thought I'd ask here.
We both have Irish passports but are resident in the UK (her Belfast, me London.) Do I need to apply for a visa before travelling, or will I receive a tourist card on the plane? We are flying from London with…
Here are a couple of recent articles that I do not believe anybody has yet posted for all to see.
I must warn though, this is R -rated stuff and up!
P.S. - I am not an advocator of anything written in these articles and some of it is weally weird!
For the record, I am an advocator for "Free Love" though, so come on comrades, let it all hang out and give it away at your next opportunity! Jejejeje!!
Hi guys!
My girlfriend and I are traveling the Caribbean this summer and are wondering if its possible to fly from DR to Cuba. Has anyone traveled this route before?
Any advice would be seriously appreciated!

My son picked Cuba for his high school graduation trip. We are leaving next week for a 9 day trip visiting Havana,
Cinefuegos and Trinidad. I have booked our lodging ahead of time and checked out Viazul but there were no seats available for our dates so plan on arranging transportation to our ongoing cities once we get to Cuba.
I have several questions that I would appreciate help with-
1. Money- we plan on bringing US dollars after reading the feedback about converting to Euros ahead of time and…
Hi, my boyfriend and I just arrived from Havana and we decided to share our experiences in the LP forum since many of the tips we read ultimately turned out to be very useful ... First: if you are a US citizen with a card issued by an American bank bring All the cash you can bring, those cards will Not work on regular ATMs .. Second: there are a lot of agencies out there but we found this one to be the best and with the most Reasonable prices <snip> we ended up booking a Salsa class, a Classic…
After the Carnival in Santiago, I am traveling back to Havana and looking for advice on where to go and great places to stay. I enjoy hiking and biking, and also taking in the small towns. In the spirit of the visas needing a purpose, I would love to visit some schools, as I am an educator. I also wouldn't mind volunteering. I'm open to great and unique ideas!! I do know I would like to spend at least 2 days in Havana before departing.
Thanks!
I'm traveling from Mexico to Havana then to Santiago for the Carnival in July. I'm a solo woman and I'm looking for advice on how to arrange transportation from Havana to Santiago. I'd like to go straight to Santiago then see the sights on the way back- but that's another thread.
Thanks!
My wife booked/purchased a flight to Germany on SouthWest Airlines from Ft Lauderdale to Cuba to Germany. As a US-born citizen, is she required to get a Visa or Tourist Card? The Varadero, Cuba layover is four hours. She has no plans to leave the airport at all. We have seen/read several conflicting answers to this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
