graywolf..........sorry if I mislead you but NO ONE I know will "forward" ANY calls to Cuba. The benefits of voipyourlife are elsewhere.

Graywolf001, #9 - I already had an unlocked GSM phone so I bought the SIM card only. It is a one time charge of $10 for the SIM card, then as mentioned before you pay for whatever minutes you use. If you need to buy the phone, and you dont intend to use it anywhere other than Cuba then I'd go for the $49 one. Not sure I follow your question in #10, but I didnt have any problem with the phone in Cuban customs (if thats what you are asking).

As the Cubicis normally don't appreciate if you cheat them out of their loot in the form of captured foreigner's hard currency, I was wondering whether they would investigate each cell phone brought in to see whether it would serve that despicable purpose.
But I guess their customs don't have the skills or technical means to check that.
