A friend and I are returning to Cuba in late June for a couple weeks of exploring and photography. This will be my 3rd trip in 16 months. Our plan is to fly to Havana, spend 2-3 days, fly to Santiago de Cuba for 3-4 days, bus to Baracoa for 3-4 days, and fly back to Havana to catch our homeward flight. We are low-key travellers, and enjoy a mix of nature explorations and city life, and a good bit of rum! We are 2 older guys in good shape with young spirits. Thanks for any suggestions!

Can you be a bit more specific?

To maximize your time in Santiago and Baracoa, can you not fly to Holguin or Santiago and skip Havana this time?

No, we can fly to Havana on airline points, but not to other Cuban destinations. And we have a couple of things we need to do in Havana... Everything I know about SdC and Baracoa I've gleaned from travel books, and forums. Looking for things to do, places to eat that you'd recommend.

Baracoa - I don't think I have any information that you wouldn't have already read in a guide book.
