Hi All

We are wanting to do a 5 day course in Cuba at the start of our trip (will be spending a few weeks in Cuba and then backpacking through Central America). Can anyone recommend any good schools, we were thinking of either Havana or Trinidad sounds nice, but are open to any recommendations.

Also, will they let us travel there on a one way ticket or is it best to pre book our return flight?

Hi, spanish course in Havana at the University, you have to book on Universitur Agency. Other posibility is private classes.

Here's a link to University of Havana courses. Check it out.

They may or may not check on your arrival but return or onward transportation is a requirement for entry. It is better / easier / less expensive to book this outside Cuba.

A fine private teacher is Fabiola Carrarala, tel # 8303237 in Havana. She lives in Vedado. She is a professor at the university.

Thanks for the link, the Uni course work out to about $130 aussie dollars for 20 hours, which is awesome. I will also check out Fabiola.
