Hi again guys,
I booked my stay in Havana next to the university of Havana (Vedado area). I think that the area is ok? Right? Furthermore, can recommend any cadecas or banks next to the university in order to exchange euros?
Thank you!

Walk right over to the Habana Libre hotel if you want to find tbe nearest money exchange, probably faster than the bank since lines will be shorter,if any.

Which side of the university ?
On the side to Havana Vieja, San Miguel and Basarrata avenue. The exchange rates are the same at hotels, banks and cadekas?

Hotel Habana Libre is the closest, the exchange rate is usually the best at the bank, but it's negligible and there are lines at the bank, less so at the hotel. The area is fine, take the same precautions for your safety as you would in any other big city.

The difference in exchange rates between banks and cadecas is small unless changing thousands or euros.

Check the rates before using hotel front desks. I think there should be a cadeca in the Habana Libre.
