Anyone has personal experience using Huawei cell phones in Cuba? I particularly like its price, dual sim cards, high rated camera and long lasting battery.

As long as it supports the frequencies in Cuba, should work fine. Is this for your own use or a gift to someone in Cuba. If the latter, battery life is not very important, imo, along with dual sims.

I would make sure it supports Spanish as the default language. Ran into Samsung phones in Canada that did not have Spanish as one of the defaults. Pretty weird, imo. Not easy to add it. This was a phone from one of the Canadian carriers and not purchase over the internet where this is very common.

My friend had a Huawei for about five years and it worked fine. However that was before we got wifi and she has since upgraded to a Samsung

Probably no need to do so, for Wi-Fi.

My experience with Huawei phones has been quite good. Their phones tend to be sturdy, affordable, long lasting and able to meet all basic phone needs while in Cuba. If possible buy from a private vendor rather than a Government store as it usually saves you money.
