My m-i-l has had a couple of cancellations - one was late November, which seemed a bit over cautious. We'll see if bookings pick up again - November is normally a good month for her.

My regular casa in Havana had serious flooding and I knew I would not be returning for 6 weeks or so which will give them time to repair / replace. But I knew they would be struggling with the costs and no income for a while so I simply prepaid for the next few trips. Since I am not planning on dying or stopping going to Cuba, it made sense for me to pay now, travel later. There are only four people in Cuba that I totally trust and that casa owner is top of the list.
