I can never remember the site for the actual exchange rates, not the mid range. I saved some UK pounds from a trip in Aug. and see that
they have been gaining strength vis a vis the US$. Cheers, Beard or any of the other gurus should know.

The actual website is http://www.banco-metropolitano.com.cu/ but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment.
You can look at the latest post here - https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g147270-i91-k4890889-Banco_Central_de_Cuba_Tipo_de_Cambio-Cuba.html
You can get pretty close if you take the mid-rate and adjust by 3%.
Sometimes that Banco Metropolitano site comes up with an error message, something along the lines of "Ocurrió un Error con la Base de Datos."
I have found that if I just keep hitting the refresh button on my browser, the page eventually comes up, most times.

Seems like more of a problem than I had imagined. The rates from 2011 would be right on if the euro was so high presently,
since I saved a bunch from the last trip to Europe.
GBP LIBRA ESTERLINA 1.30329 1.37701
EUR EURO 1.15907 1.22463
£100 ------------> 130.33 CUC
€100 ------------> 115.91 CUC

Thanks for that. Good to see the pound is giving the same amount of CUC as I paid for it in US$. last month. ($1.30 at an ATM in
London)
