My husband & I have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks in Cuba
Havana – Trinidad – Vinales.
I would like to recommend 2 fabulous casa's that made our trip.
Trinidad
Casa Ramonita
Ramanita & Pablo. Calle Camilo Cienfuegos No.86
E/pedro Zerquera y Frank Pais

A very friendly couple in a beautiful Colonial house with plenty of outdoor areas to sit and read. I have never been served so much food. The meals were delicious and therefore we spent most evenings eating at the casa which ranged from 16 -18 CUC for the two of us. Homemade soup, fruit salad, meat, rice, chips, salad & dessert. The rooms are on-suite and very clean. We were very well looked after and sad to leave. They also arranged our transport back to Havana.
Vinales
Lumino & Hierberto
Orlando Nodarse No.3, Adela Azcuy y Joaquin Pérez
Tel 696952 http://casavinales.awardspace.com/

Their room is a in a new separate building, very clean, on-suite with a wonderful outdoor patio. It is extremley private. The meals were some of the best we had on our trip again for similar prices all under 18 CUC. We were packed off with bread fruit & freshly squeezed fruit juice for our daily trips. They make fabulous mojitos and have a great friend called Ismael who speaks fluent English & French. We tried many fruits & vegetables and Lumino kindly gave me a cooking lesson on how to make Banana Fritter omlette – delicious!
