its a pretty lively place, it is apparently a habaneros/as beach of choice- its not particulary clean however, and youll find everything on the beach/and in the sea from scrap metal to general junk, a friend cut his foot wide open after treading on a nail ridden plank of wood so be careful- and is not as touristy as a beach such as Santa Maria which is frequented by more tourists, thus the prices are tend to be a little lower- dont be put off about the cleanliness thing tho, it is more of a 'real' cuban beach area, than the varadero beaches- which just isnt really cuba
