air only, rt flight sold by signature vacations to holguin from calgary, march 15th for 1 week. 300 cdn, taxes in.... I am very tempted!

That's a great price considering taxes are 200 .... I paid 300 plus taxes departing Toronto for March 15 ... just returned from Venezuela and if you think the $25 departure taxes for cuba is expensive ... Venezuela was $54 USD
#4 I think by sheer hard work and dedication over recent days you have now assumed the mantle of the most useless poster on this site. Considering the competition this is no mean feat. Congratulations!
Cheers

It is so, but the tickets need to be booked by march 12th, today..... tic toc.

That's the whole thing about sell-off airfares. They are a means for tour operators to unload seat inventory. Airplane seats are an extremely perishable commodity. That's why the prices get deeply discounted as flight operating date/time nears.
As a traveller, you must be prepared to act immediately. There are strategies for that, but that is a whole separate post
Everytime I hear of airfare bargains out of Canada, the taxes exceed the airfares.
Do canadians pay income taxes twice, once on their paychecks and second on things
like airfares?
Is it a great cold place to live or just the best place to get screwed out of what you earn?
I know, medical services are "free".
