Hi, I was starting to look into flights from UK to Honduras early next year (usually fri or sat to maximise days off). However the connections on the flights to their capital Tegucigalpa are not good. I have found better options to San Pedro Sula with Aero Mexico - without knowing much about Honduras yet is San Pedro Sula a good place to start a two week trip from compared to the capital? or is it not connected to much else?
Is it possible to land in another country and overland into Honduras…
We’d like to spend a week+ in Panama in March at a beach location with reasonable accommodations (~US$100 or less per night), reasonably healthy food options (food store, supermarket, and/or clean restaurant), and opportunities for snorkeling from the beach. San Blas Islands look very pristine and all, but also lacking in facilities. Bocas Del Toro has drawbacks in air transport: taxis from one airport to another, overnights in airport hotels, questionable air transport(Nature Air now folded…
Hi guys,
My friend and I are flying in to SJO on the 1st week of Sept, for 16 whole days of pura vida. We would love to combine nature, photography, extreme activities, and some seaside/hot springs relaxing.
This is our current itinerary - comments, ideas or any other suggestions would be awesome!
day 1 - flying in to SJO + 4x4 rental car pickup
day 2 - drive to Arenal + visit La Paz gardens on the way (not sure about La Paz - sounds pretty touristy. We love waterfalls however hate to see caged…

I am now in Tamarindo (nice but not more) and will travel to Sámara. I will have now 11 more days until my flight out of SJO. I am not a surfer but like to walk on the beach, swimm, watching wildlife, read, good (sea)food. Next places? Malpaís, Montezuma, and then boat to Jacó (didn't like it), south to Dominical? Have been to Bahía Drake 4 years ago.

Guidance please.
My husband and i are planning a trip to Costa Rica (and maybe Nicaragua) for October, approx 2 weeks.
We lovenature, would want to spend time visiting volcanos, swim with dolphins in wild, seeing sea turtles, tracking through rainforests, swim at beaches, hot springs, etc. prefer nature than visiting cities.
We have read that its wet in October, especially on the Pacific side.
Thoughts on whether it is worth coming this October, or whether we plan something else for now and…
Hi everyone,
I will be traveling in Central America for about a month in October with a friend.
We would like to do 14 days in Cuba, 10 in Costa Rica and 10 in another country.
What would you suggest to visit after Costa Rica? We are looking for nice beaches, cool places, adventure and fun :)
I was having a look at Guatemala but I would like to hear suggestions.
Thank you!
I'm looking for suggestions for my trip to Costa Rica with my wife and kids, which included 3 girls ages 13,16,18. I have a place to stay in Nosara from July 30-Aug 11th and then was planning on doing site seeing til Aug 16th (late flight at 5pm). I can shave a day or two off the beginning or end but are leaning towards just enjoying surfing and doing yoga with the expectation that we will likely come back to Costa Rica next year. Am flying in and out of San Jose
Question 1) We have time to…
Who does not want to get to know new, interesting places? The beaches in Guanacaste and especially in and around Sámara offer something for every taste. Action and lounging are in harmony here. You can do so much here, whether as a couple, alone, with children or with friends, individual or package: here is always something going on! On Punta Islita beach, whales pass by and at Corozalito beach you can relax. 3-5 days are enough to explore the place and discover the surrounding area with all its…
