Hi guys.
Okay i just dropped outta Uni and i plan on using my student loan to do some damage around the world. Want to go to Latin America, but have no idea where to start. Please help. I cant decide where will be a great place for me to relax and carry on being the useless bum that i am. I was thinking Cuba- but i got the general impression that i will soon start wearing away my budget pretty fast. then thers is Guatamala, costa rica, Belize....
i am 19 years old. Have travelled extensively across north africa and the Asia. so not a new baby to backapacking at all. But right now completely clueless...
Okay how about this- Please can you guys right down one thing that was the highlight of wherever you wnet ot in central america...Like one place that you just have to see if you go there...
Thank you for your time. x

I travelled all through Central America several years ago and had a great time in many different places. Also spent a couple of years in the north of South America (Colombia and Venezuela) and again had many wonderful experiences. I published a book last year about all my travels around the world (Half-Time published by Gringo Latino Books - www.gringolatinobooks.com) and almost half of the travel stories are in Latin America. I'm sure you'd find the book very interesting but if you want to get a taste of it for free, go to www.worldsurface.com and either in 'short stories' or in my user name GringoLatino you can find several stories taken from my book that will give you a good idea of what it's all about. Have a good trip!
