Utila travel

What will be the cheapest way to fly to Utila from Toronto Canada. We are planning to travel mid Feb 2012. Any sugestions would be appreciated.

You might find it cheaper to fly into San Pedro Sula, then go from there flight to Utila, or bus to La Ceiba, then ferry to Utila.

You can fly into Roatan as well on international flights, then you could take Verns Catamaran 4 hours from Roatan to Utila, daily at 1230pm ish..

I've read for years that Sunwing has cheap flights from Toronto to La Ceiba - then you ferry across or take another plane to Utila. Hope that's still true for you - happy trails!

I think Sunwing stopped the Ceiba flight, but they have one on Mondays from Toronto to Roatan which arrives late morning, so you'd have time to take Vern's cat in the afternoon, or arrange a private charter flight (wherever you're staying in Utila could probably help with the charter flight arrangements, I think it's about $125 per person each way).

We have in the past flown from Toronto to Fort Lauderdale and then to San Pedro Sula with Spirit Air - only drawback is the late arrival times.
West Jet and sometimes Air Canada can have some good sales to Fort Lauderdale, but also check the sites below:
