Travelling from Drake Bay to Puerto Jimenez

Hello!

We are planning our holiday for January in CR and we are planning on staying in Drake Bay and then to get the bus from PJ back to San José (flights are already sold out and too expensive with Nature Air, and SANSA's website is stuck and never managed to get a rate)
I cannot really find infos about buses from DB to PJ. Anyone knows how often do they run (if they run) and when?

We took a bus from Puerto Jimenez to La Palma and in La Palma we took a bus to Drake Bay (it took 90 minutes). We were told this bus only runs in the dry season. So if there hasn't been much rain it might run. Otherwise it won't as the bus has to cross several streams and rivers. The bus from Drake Bay back to La Palma left Drake Bay at 5 am when we were there (just ask your hotel in Drake Bay).

But try Sansa again. Their website works fine for me (you have to enter your destination and dates twice).

Also, instead of going to Puerto Jimenez only to take the bus from there to San Jose take a boat from Drake Bay (nice scenic boat ride) to Sierpe, a bus or taxi to Palmar Norte and a bus to San Jose from there.

I don't know why you are going from DB to PJ to get to SJ.

Take a boat from DB to Sierrpe, then a taxi hire into Palmar Sur/Norte and get the bus from there to SJ, or fly from there to SJ.

Getting between DB and PJ is a major pain, and its also the wrong direction.

Thanks for the advices, it's just that we are already taking the boat from Sierpe for coming into Drake Bay, I thought that it could have been nice to see the other side of the peninsula but if it's such a pain we will opt for the boat trip also for the way back!

PS: I've tried everything with the sansa website but it really doesn't wanna work, not even from the phone!

Did you check Nature Air?

I put in the dates of Jan. 14 to Jan. 21, no problem. About 98us each way and you DO have to enter the same info twice, just follow the page.

I even had a help page/box come up asking me questions. They have about 2-3 flights a day.

I am sorry, I feel really frustrated and stupid. I even tried from a laptop of a friend, but the website still doesn't work.
I need just one way BD to SJ, I am putting in the date: 25th of January and the page get stuck. I tried all the possible combinations... what does it mean that I need to put the same info twice?
My homepage get stuck, so maybe you mean that they ask you the same info in the next page?

Yes I did but it's too expensive for the day that I need it

After you enter the stuff on the first page hit enter, be patient and the second page appears, top part shows 'who', toggle down just a bit, next is "where you going" and enter the same bullshit again, they need a reminder, then hit enter.

On Jan. 25 they have 3 flights a day, all open, $98us for1 person, put you in for the 1pm flight, no smoking but you can bring your own beers on, I did.

Oh yeah, the $98us is for one way Drake-San Jose.
