I am hoping to take a trip to Costa Rica early Spring to surf and was hoping to get more details about this area of the country. I have one week of a timeshare to use and found a place that is a few minutes from Jaco on Playa Hermosa (Hotel Terraza del Pacífico). Just wondering about some of the general details - how difficult would it be to get from the hotel to the town, where I would find a place to rent a surf board and bike, and if it would make more sense to stay closer to the town of Jaco or directly on the beach. It's difficult to book things so far in advance so I thought I could get more details here.
