Spanish school for teenage sonCountry forums / Central America / Nicaragua
Any suggestions for a great place to study Spanish with my 13 year-old son? I'm looking for a school experienced in working with his age group and also a place that offers actvities that would interest him while not in class. We've been to Antigua, Guatemala and I'd like to try some place new. Thanks in advance! Edited by: micha
I've read (on this board and in the footprints guidebook) that Casa Xalteva is good. It's a charity for children also so there will be kids around your son's age too. Edited by: sara82 | 1
MY SON IS 21 YEARS OLD. WE HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THE SCHOOL VIA EMAIL. HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE FLYING FROM MIAMI DIRECT TO MANAGUA ON MAY 2, 2009. I HAVE CALLED THE TELELPHONE NUMBERS POSTED ON THE WEBSITE. THE LINE IS "BUSY" ALWAYS. I AM GETTING CONCERNED THAT SOMETHING ISN'T QUITE RIGHT. I AM NOT GOING TO PUT HIM ON A PLANE UNTIL I GET MORE CONCRETE ASSURANCE THAT SOMEONE IS ON THE OTHER END OF ALL THIS. I AM LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK, IF YOU HAVE ANY. THANKS. PS. THE SCHOOL IS CASA XALTEVA IN GRANDAD. | 2
Thanks, I have decided on Ixbalenque in Honduras. I do have a friend who is planning on attending Casa Xalteva and he seems confident about the program (I've also read quite a few positive reviews of their program). | 3
