renting snorkel gear in panama city

Hello there, just wondering if anyone can recommend/suggest any shops in panama city that rent decent snorkelling gear....

I land in panama city in the afternoon, and then would like to head out to the san blas the next day....most people seem to be recommending to get your own gear b4 heading to the islands.....so, would like to quickly and easily obtain some gear for the trip...however, i have been unable to find any information on how easy it will be to obtain the gear or where when in panama city....

or is there a decent option in carti area?as that is likely where i will be heading....

any advice?

There's not much at all in Carti.
The road will be very rough and was unpassable a couple of weeks ago - we are having quite a bit of rain in the hills even now in dry season.

The road to Carti is fine at the moment. I don't think it's rained too badly down there for a little bit. The trip hasn't been taking any longer than normal.
