Placencia

Staying at the MainStay Cabanas near Placencia in May. Is this area fairly safe?
Also wondered if I need to purchase mosquito netting for our bed prior to trip?
Any advise appreciated.

Safe? Sure, why wouldn't it be? Maine Stay is an excellent place.

For goodness sakes, why would you need a mosquito net? Maine Stay is a nice upscale suites spot on a lovely beach with screens on the windows and air conditioning, full kitchens, washers and dryers, cable TV, DSL, king beds and everything.
