Panama Hotels

Any suggestions for an older couple who still travel budget? We're over the party scene and are looking for hotels in $50 plus or minus range for: Panama City (Casco Viejo?), El Valle, Boquete, Santa Clara Beach area, Bocas del Toro. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We will travel in April.
