Non-bus transport to Placencia

Hello!

I'm organizing a trip for myself and seven friends to Placencia. I've been to Belize before and really enjoyed taking buses all over, but for this trip I am need of a shuttle or private driver recommendation to take eight of us from BZE to Placencia!

I found these guys: http://www.belizeshuttlesandtransfers.com/Placencia-Shuttle.php but they don't return emails or answer the phone...

I did some scouring through the forums here but really only found info on buses and the Hokey Pokey ferry. Can anyone recommend a shuttle service or private driver that can transport eight adults?

Also, in case you're wondering, we don't want to rent a car. Thanks!

I've read some negative comments on another travel forum about the transfer service you mentioned.

For your trip, I'd suggest contacting:
a) William’s Belize Shuttle, www.parrot-nest.com/belize_shuttle.html
b) Discounted Belize Shuttles and Tours,

Both have received positive comments. William is based in the Cayo district.

There are other transfer services. Here are a few based in northern Belize...

I've seen the vehicles & some drivers for c) & d) -- vehicles are in new condition and the drivers appeared professional & courteous.
