Hostel in San Juan del Sur?

Hey there!
At the moment I am staying on Ometepe but want to go to San Juan before heading to Costa Rica. I tried to find suggestions about a cheap hostel, best with kitchen facilities in this forum but everything I could find is from two years ago. Can anybody help me???

We were there a year ago and stayed at Hotel Costa Azul- clean , good mattress,cheap internet but not much ambiance and not on the beach and no kitchen. However, we talked to some people staying at the Hostel Esperanza and they were very pleased-

The surfing crowd seems to prefer Casa Del Oro. Very cheap basic place with both dorms and a few private rooms. There is a community kitchen. It is one long block from the beach. They are also the major budget tour operator in the area.

I was in San Juan briefly in January, and there was a brand new hostel right on the ocean front. I'm afraid I don't remember the name, but it was cheap and friendly, at the end of the street where the church is.

Casa Oro is where we stayed, $7 for a bed in a dorm, it's clean and we liked it there. They have a pretty good kitchen and the common area is a nice place to meet people. We also heard good things about Esperanza.
