Getting from San Pedro Sula to TrujilloCountry forums / Central America / Honduras
Hi all, I am going to visit a friend in Trujillo in two weeks. I am wondering how challenging it will be to get from the airport in San Pedro Sula to Trujillo given the rains and the political conflict. Any thoughts on the best way to get out there? I have heard the road out near Trujillo has been intermittently blocked, but my last update was several weeks ago. Anyone know anything more? Thank you!
There is no problem, it is business as usual. the only holdup might be the usual stuff of traffic and/or strikes that occur often, but they're no big deal and certainly nothing out of the ordinary. Have fun | 1
Hola, My name is Paul Cowan and I live in Columbus, Ohio. I used to live and teach in LaCeiba and in Nicaragua. I plan on going to Trujillo and La Ceiba in Nov-Dec. Could you have your friend who lives there to email me. I need some info about the area and living costs. And I also need Christinas apartments number and or web site. Thanks. | 2
Hey there, I will try and get some information while I am there and forward it on to you. Sounds like the trip from San Pedro Sula to Trujillo shouldn't be a problem for me. I'll be there next week so we'll see how it goes! Take care | 3
Hi! My daughter is travelling to Trujillo later this year - flying in to San Pedro. Can anyone give details of the 'Cotuk' bus from San Pedro (where?) to Trujillo. Any details of what taxi might cost from airport to bus and what the fare on the bus is would be welcome - also - when do buses leave and how long is the coach/bus trip? Finally, my daughter is trying to decide wether ruck-sack or suitcase is best - she is in country fro 3 months and so would prefer suit-case with an empty ruck-sack in it - but is this practical for the coach/bus trip? All help/tips/guidance very gratefully accepted All the best Paul | 4
