Getting from Copan Ruinas to Utila on the same day?

How can I get to Utila from Copan Ruinas in the same day (on a Monday) using shuttle buses and ferry or flight? Thanks

Fastest would be to bus to San Pedro Sula and fly from there, but flights don't head daily to Utila and I'm nos sure of the current schedules. You can also leave on a rally early bus to SPS and on to La Ceiba, then fly or ferry to Utila. For example, the 5:15 am Hedman Alas bus should get you into La Ceiba well ahead of the last ferry departure of the day at 4 or 4:30 pm. You can get local colectivos (shuttle vans) but I don't think they run to SPS and La Ceiba. Good luck!
